The next six weeks: distance, duration and distraction, so the commands hold up somewhere other than the training floor.

Nose work and other specialised training, including working dogs. A job for a dog with more drive than a house can absorb.
Boarding

I have been training dogs for more than a decade, and I opened the facility here in Warne so the hard cases would finally have somewhere to go.
Most of the dogs I see have a history. Aggression, a bite, anxiety bad enough that the family has rearranged their whole life around it. Somebody has usually already said no. I would rather look at the dog myself and tell you honestly what it will take.
What I will not do is hand you a trained dog and wish you luck. You are the one holding the leash at home, so you learn the handling and the timing alongside your dog. That is the part that makes it stick.
Board and train, one-on-one, group classes, scent work — the program matters less than matching it to the dog in front of me.
